Arthur Land Super Cup finals day

This Sunday sees the last 8 teams left in this years Arthur Land Super Cup battle it out to be this year’s champions. The finals day will be held at Bellingham Bowling Club, the home of Wigan Bowling Green Ltd, New Lodge, Wigan WN1 2ND.

Can King George V retain the title they won so impressively last year?

This venue hosts a successful 31up competition in July and the greens are traditionally in very good order. Car parking is available at the club but this car park is not the biggest. There are parking restrictions in the streets surrounding the venue but I am assured that these are not in force on Sunday’s. There will be refreshments available throughout the day.

The games will start at 10:00 am and the draw is:

Green no 1
St George’s v Newport
Esclusham v Kings Heath Park

Green no 2
Dudley Dell v Thongsbridge
Penn v King George V

I would like to thanks all the clubs who have entered this year’s competition and also the venues who were contacted about the finals day.

Details for the competition in 2017 will be released in November and the venue for next year’s final day will be held in the south following northern venues for the last two finals.
